भारत के यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) ने अपनी अजेय वृद्धि जारी रखते हुए इस साल जुलाई में अपना अब तक का सबसे अधिक मासिक लेनदेन (monthly transaction volume) दर्ज किया है। इस प्लेटफॉर्म ने 29.88 लाख करोड़ रुपये के 23.66 बिलियन (2,366 करोड़) लेनदेन सफलतापूर्वक पूरे किए हैं।

- ग्रामीण और अर्ध-शहरी विस्तार: प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय (PMO) के अनुसार, यह प्रदर्शन भारत के डिजिटल भुगतान इकोसिस्टम के लिए एक मील का पत्थर है, जो टियर-2, टियर-3 और देश के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों (rural regions) में इसके तेजी से अपनाए जाने को दर्शाता है।
