नई दिल्ली में 'अफ्रीका दिवस' (Africa Day) के अवसर पर बोलते हुए विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस. जयशंकर ने कहा कि भारत अफ्रीका के साथ समावेशी और 'मांग-संचालित' (demand-driven) विकास सहयोग के पक्ष में है। इस दृष्टिकोण का उद्देश्य स्थानीय क्षमता को बढ़ाना और अफ्रीकी देशों की राष्ट्रीय प्राथमिकताओं का समर्थन करना है।
🌍 भारत-अफ्रीका संबंधों के मुख्य बिंदु:
- व्यापार और निवेश में वृद्धि: भारत को अफ्रीका के सबसे बड़े व्यापार और निवेश भागीदारों में से एक होने पर गर्व है। पिछले साल दोनों क्षेत्रों के बीच द्विपक्षीय व्यापार 93 अरब डॉलर ($93 billion) रहा, जबकि अफ्रीका में भारत का कुल निवेश 80 अरब डॉलर ($80 billion) को पार कर गया है।
- 10 मार्गदर्शक सिद्धांत: डॉ. जयशंकर ने बताया कि अफ्रीका के प्रति भारत का दृष्टिकोण उन 10 सिद्धांतों द्वारा निर्देशित है, जिन्हें प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 2018 में युगांडा की संसद को संबोधित करते हुए रेखांकित किया था। ये सिद्धांत खुले बाजार, व्यापार और डिजिटल क्रांति को प्राथमिकता देते हैं।
- ग्लोबल साउथ का सशक्तिकरण: अफ्रीकी महाद्वीप और 'ग्लोबल साउथ' (Global South) के प्रति भारत की स्थायी प्रतिबद्धता इस बात से झलकती है कि भारत की अध्यक्षता के दौरान अफ्रीकी संघ (African Union - AU) को G20 के स्थायी सदस्य के रूप में शामिल किया गया।

Speaking on the occasion of Africa Day in New Delhi, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar stated that India stands firmly for inclusive, demand-driven development cooperation with Africa. This approach is designed to enhance local capacity and strictly support the national priorities of African nations.

- Massive Trade & Investment: India is proud to be one of Africa’s largest trade and investment partners. Bilateral trade between the two regions stood at a staggering $93 billion last year, with cumulative Indian investments in Africa exceeding $80 billion.
- The 10 Guiding Principles: Dr. Jaishankar highlighted that India’s approach to Africa is guided by the 10 principles outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address to the Ugandan Parliament in 2018. These prioritize open markets, digital revolution, and mutual growth.
