- अवमानना कार्रवाई की चेतावनी: पीठ ने आदेश का पालन न करने वाले राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को सख्त निर्देश दिया कि उनके मुख्य सचिव (Chief Secretaries) और पुलिस महानिदेशक (DGPs) अदालत में व्यक्तिगत रूप से पेश हों और स्पष्ट करें कि उनके खिलाफ अवमानना कार्रवाई (contempt action) क्यों न शुरू की जाए। इस मामले की अगली सुनवाई 5 अक्टूबर को होगी।
