भारत की अध्यक्षता में नई दिल्ली में 16वीं ब्रिक्स (BRICS) राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार बैठक आयोजित हुई। NSA अजीत डोभाल की अध्यक्षता में सदस्य देशों ने आतंकवाद, साइबर सुरक्षा और भारत की 2026 ब्रिक्स थीम का पूर्ण समर्थन किया।

🛡️ बैठक के मुख्य बिंदु और चर्चा के विषय:
- उभरते खतरों से निपटना: विदेश मंत्रालय (MEA) के अनुसार, प्रतिनिधियों ने ऊर्जा और खाद्य सुरक्षा, जलवायु अस्थिरता, और आतंकवादी संगठनों द्वारा 'नई तकनीकों के दुरुपयोग' जैसे सीमाओं को पार करने वाले सुरक्षा जोखिमों पर गहन विचार-विमर्श किया।
- कार्य समूहों की समीक्षा: NSA ने आतंकवाद विरोधी ब्रिक्स संयुक्त कार्य समूहों (21-22 मई) और सूचना व संचार प्रौद्योगिकी (ICT) के उपयोग में सुरक्षा पर आयोजित बैठकों (8-9 जून) के परिणामों की समीक्षा की।
- कानून प्रवर्तन समन्वय: नेताओं ने आतंकवाद और साइबर जोखिमों का सामूहिक रूप से मुकाबला करने के लिए क्षमता निर्माण, सूचना साझाकरण (Information sharing) और BRICS कानून प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों के बीच समन्वय बढ़ाने का समर्थन किया।
🌍 भारत की 2026 ब्रिक्स अध्यक्षता और विजन
सभी NSA ने 2026 में भारत की ब्रिक्स अध्यक्षता (BRICS Chairmanship) के लिए अपना पूर्ण समर्थन व्यक्त किया, जिसकी थीम है: "लचीलापन, नवाचार, सहयोग और स्थिरता के लिए निर्माण" (Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability)।
बैठक के सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न होने के बाद, प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से संयुक्त रूप से मुलाकात की और भविष्य की रणनीतियों पर चर्चा की।
BRICS NSAs Call for Stronger Global Cooperation to Tackle Terrorism & Cyber Threats

Hosted by India and chaired by NSA Ajit Doval, the 16th BRICS National Security Advisers Meeting focused on countering global security challenges, terrorism, and cyber threats. Delegates fully supported India’s 2026 BRICS Chairmanship theme.
International Relations: BRICS Nations Unite Against Global Security Challenges
🛡️ Key Discussions & Mutual Agreements:
- Tackling Emerging Threats: Delegates exchanged views on risks transcending national borders, including energy and food security, climate-related instability, and the misuse of emerging technologies by terrorist organisations.
- Reviewing Working Groups: The NSAs reviewed the critical outcomes of the BRICS Joint Working Groups on Counter-Terrorism (May 21-22) and on Security in the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (June 8-9).
- Law Enforcement Coordination: Leaders extended robust support for enhancing information sharing and coordinating amongst BRICS law enforcement agencies to counter terrorism and cyber risks collectively.
🌍 India's 2026 BRICS Chairmanship & Vision
The NSAs expressed their full and unanimous support for India’s BRICS Chairmanship in 2026, which operates under the visionary theme: "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability".
Following the successful conclusion of the meeting, the delegation had a joint call-on with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the way forward for the geopolitical bloc.
