नई दिल्ली में 85वें सशस्त्र बल मुख्यालय (AFHQ) सिविलियन सर्विसेज डे समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए, रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने देश के रक्षा पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र (defence ecosystem) को मजबूत करने के लिए रक्षा मंत्रालय के सैन्य और नागरिक विंग (civilian wings) के बीच अधिक एकीकरण (integration) की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।

- 'नेशन फर्स्ट' (Nation First) का साझा लक्ष्य: इस बात पर जोर देते हुए कि वर्दीधारी (uniformed) और सिविल सेवा दोनों 'नेशन फर्स्ट' की प्रतिबद्धता साझा करते हैं, मंत्री ने कहा कि जब उद्देश्य एक हो, तो सिस्टम का हर तत्व उभरती सुरक्षा और तकनीकी चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए राष्ट्रीय शक्ति में बदल जाता है।

Addressing the 85th Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ) Civilian Services Day celebrations in New Delhi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh strongly stressed the need for greater integration between the military and civilian wings of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to strengthen the country’s overall defence ecosystem.

- Unified ‘Nation First’ Approach: Emphasizing that both uniformed and civil services share the same commitment of ‘Nation First,’ the Minister noted that when the objective is singular, every element transforms into sheer national strength to address evolving security and technological challenges.
- Cross-Exposure & Joint Training: Mr. Singh highlighted the need to enhance structured cross-exposure between civilian and military officers through joint training programmes and developmental assignments, establishing a continuous exchange of expertise.
- Institutional Memory of MoD: Calling the AFHQ services the "institutional memory" of the Ministry of Defence, he stated that this cadre provides vital continuity, domain expertise, and policy stability, acting as an important bridge in strengthening civil-military synergy.
